The demand for cybersecurity is exploding. Want to learn more about simulating and repelling cyberattacks, digital forensics, secure network architecture, and encryption?

FULL STACK SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Full stack software development can take you anywhere: video gaming, product development, architectural design, health tracking, retail sales, scientific modeling, and more.

DATA CENTER TECHNICIAN

Our Data Center Technician program prepares students with the IT skills required to work in data centers and in-demand entry-level IT jobs.

CLOUD COMPUTING

Cloud computing is the on-demand delivery of IT resources over the Internet. Our Cloud Computing program was developed in partnership with AWS Educate and 7 local community and technical colleges. CFA has developed a process for students to discover, prepare for, and apply to internship opportunities that match their skills and career goals.

What Is a Computer and Software Technician?

A Computer and Software Technician is an entry-level IT Support Specialist whose job duties include working with computer hardware and software systems, application support, troubleshooting, and customer service. In this program, students will learn the fundamentals of computer networks, operating systems, systems administration, IT infrastructure, and security.

This program is being offered by YV Tech and West Valley Innovation Center in Yakima County.

What Is a Cybersecurity Support Technician?

A Cybersecurity Support Technician is an entry level technician that fixes protects computer systems from data theft by staying abreast with the latest technological developments. They collaborate with the IT team of their organization to install an emergency arrangement so that systems recover fast after they are taken down by viruses, malware, spyware, etc.

This program is being offered by Renton School District in King County, YV Tech, and West Valley Innovation Center in Yakima County.

What Is A Full-Stack Developer?

Full-Stack Developers design and develop websites and other applications. They are responsible for server-side development, database development, and client-side development when building applications.

Computing For All offers the L&I-acknowledged Pre-Apprenticeship Program which gives foundational skills in full-stack development.

What Is A Data Center Technician?

A Data Center Technician is an entry-level IT Support Specialist whose job duties include installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a data center’s computer and network systems including all hardware, firmware, and software problems that may arise. In this program, students will learn the fundamentals of computer networks, operating systems, systems administration, IT infrastructure, and security.

This program is being offered by Quincy School District in Grant County.

What Is Cloud Computing?

The Cloud Computing Career Launch program recognizes the demand for cloud jobs and creates pathways in college for students to earn credentials in college to prepare them for entry-level roles in Cloud Computing, including as Cloud Support Associates, Information Security Specialists, and Data Security Administrator. AWS Educate collaborates with community colleges to update and expand their existing computer science curriculum to meet industry standards in cloud computing.

The 7 partner colleges include Bates College, Bellevue College, Cascadia College, Columbia Basin College, Renton Technical College, Skagit Valley College, and Whatcom Community College.
