OUR MISSION
Computing for All (CFA) is a Seattle-based nonprofit dedicated to preparing low-income and underrepresented young adults for high-demand technology careers. Our training model combines hands-on, project-based learning, industry-aligned curriculum, professional mentorship, and community engagement. Through strategic partnerships with employers and educational institutions, we equip participants with the technical and professional skills, confidence, and networks needed to launch upwardly mobile careers in tech—regardless of socioeconomic status, gender, race, or ability.
Our Vision
Bridge the Gaps
SKills
Many students struggle to find the connection between their education and an attainable career. A four-year college degree is often touted as the only path to success. At the same time, the gap between ever evolving skill requirements in the tech sector and formal education programs continues to widen.
Opportunity
Traditional educational models remain out of reach for some talented students. They also separate education from work experience, which can leave some students at a competitive disadvantage.
Solution
CFA offers a unique job training and technical skill hybrid educational model, informed and guided by our industry partners, that prepares students with the requisite skills and experience to succeed in technical careers.
Our Values
When businesses, communities, and educators unite, they can change the future for all of us. Computing for All is working with students and businesses to lift local economies through the development of young leaders.
We have seen how exposure to hands-on learning, industry mentorship, and work experience can bridge the gap. Together, we are creating an impact that lasts a lifetime.
